£6,000,000 is to be invested, to redevelop the Chris Jewkes Fitness site on Danescourt Road! The planning application has now been submitted, to transform the site (formerly the Express & Star Social Club) into a new lifestyle proposal. This site is already synonymous with fitness, seeing as it has been a fully functioning gym facility for the past fifteen years, so the re-development will transform what has already gone before.
Ultimately this new community ‘wellbeing’ hub will add a new dimension for local businesses and residents, and with a coffee shop too, Hamiltons will offer a new meeting place to socialise.
